Welcome!
In order to more effectively accomplish the mission of the American Women Artists, we are offering this blog spot to our members and others to encourage, celebrate and inspire women in the visual arts. Whether a two or three dimensional artist, you can ask a question post and answer or thought about the visual arts. Although most women in the group are primarily interested in traditional art in traditional mediums there is always room to comment about something that is not traditional.

My favorite artist is difficult to answer since I really love so many. It's easier to say what style I like and that is something that is loose, without a lot of hard edges, something that seemingly flows onto the canvas or flows from the block of clay - something suggestive.
